How to Reach Star Bike Rental Jaipur

Located on the bustling arterial highway of Jaipur—MI Road—our office at Barkat Colony is exceptionally easy to locate. Whether you are arriving by flight, train, or bus, here is a quick guide on how to navigate to us:

From Jaipur Railway Junction (approx. 2.5 km): You can take a local auto-rickshaw or call us for a direct scooty drop. If riding down, head east on Station Road towards Kanti Nagar, merge onto MI Road, and take the left turn near Barkat Colony landmarks.

From Sindhi Camp Bus Stand (approx. 2 km): Drive south towards Station Road, cross the main crossing towards MI Road, and Barkat Colony is located within a 5-minute driving distance.

From Jaipur International Airport (approx. 12 km): Head north on Tonk Road, continue straight towards the city center, and turn onto MI Road. We highly recommend utilizing our hotel doorstep delivery service if you are arriving late at night via flight.

Local Navigation & Renter Guidelines

To ensure a pleasant, seamless, and completely safe travel experience in the Pink City, we advise all our riders and guests to read and understand our key operational policies, local traffic guidelines, and travel tips.

1. Navigating Jaipur's Historic Layout

Jaipur's central old city (walled city) is planned in a strict grid system, which makes navigation simple. However, the streets can get highly congested during peak hours (09:00 AM - 11:30 AM and 05:30 PM - 08:30 PM). Our office at Barkat Colony, MI Road sits just on the perimeter of this walled area. This means you can quickly collect your rental scooty and bypass the heavy city-center jams. If you are riding towards Hawa Mahal or Johri Bazaar, always park in designated two-wheeler parking lanes marked by local municipal authorities. Avoid parking in front of shop gateways or yellow lines, as local police active towing crane units are frequent in these heritage zones.

2. Jaipur Traffic Rules & Police Checks

When renting a self drive bike rental, you are subject to the same local motor vehicle laws as any private driver. Under Rajasthan police rules, wearing a secure helmet is legally mandatory for both the driver and the pillion passenger. When you rent with Star Bike Rental Jaipur, we provide you with a high-quality helmet. If the local traffic police request an inspection, remain polite and show them the digital or physical copies of the vehicle registration certificate (RC), third-party insurance certificate, and Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate—all of which are securely kept in the under-seat utility box of your scooty or the handlebar document tube of your motorcycle. Always carry your valid physical Driving License (DL).

3. Renting a Scooter vs. a Geared Bike

If you are confused about which vehicle to select from our fleet, consider your planned sightseeing destinations. For light travelers who primarily wish to shop in Bapu Bazaar, visit local cafes, explore Albert Hall Museum, or take photography tours inside the narrow pols, we highly recommend an automatic scooter like the Honda Activa 6G or TVS Jupiter 125. Scooters are extremely easy to balance in bumper-to-bumper traffic and feature excellent under-seat storage to hold your purchases. However, if you plan to ride up the steep incline of the Aravalli hills to visit Amer, Jaigarh, or Nahargarh Forts, or travel 80 km out to the Sambhar Salt Lake, a geared motorcycle like the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 provides superior power, stability, and control.

4. Daily Operating Hours

Our customer service counter and delivery teams operate from 07:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day of the week, including public holidays. All vehicle pickups and returns must be scheduled within these operational hours. Late-night returns can be accommodated under special circumstances with prior approval from the management.

5. Emergency Roadside Protocol

In case of any traffic accidents, mechanical faults, or flat tires, do not panic. Safely pull your two-wheeler to the side of the road, switch off the ignition, and immediately call our helpline (+91 9950732778). Do not attempt to hire independent mechanics or repair shops without consulting us first, as this may void the insurance and security deposits.

6. Lost Key Policy

Riders are fully responsible for the safekeeping of the vehicle keys. In the unfortunate event that you lose a key, please contact us immediately. We will arrange a duplicate key delivery to your location. A standard fee (usually between ₹500 and ₹1,500 depending on whether the vehicle uses standard or high-security sensor keys) is charged to cover replacement and courier costs.

7. Extension of Rental Period

Want to extend your stay in the Pink City? No problem! You can easily extend your rental duration by notifying us via WhatsApp at least 4 hours before your scheduled return time. Extension approvals are subject to vehicle availability, and rates will be calculated as per the standard daily pricing matrix.
